The Center
for Creative Repair and Art
221 A Street, Eastsound, Wa, 98245
A community art and repair studio, supply shop, and teaching space designed to make creative work and mutual aid more accessible.
The Center offers shared studio space, rotating project kits, art supplies, tools, equipment rentals, and community-taught classes in a flexible, sensory-friendly environment.
It is a place to try something new, save something from being thrown away, return to a craft you miss, or work a project you do not have the space, tools, or materials to do at home.
By combining studio access, supplies, and hands-on learning in one place, The Center helps remove the cost and space barriers that keep many people from learning, connecting, making, repairing, and creating.
Ways to Participate
Support Center for Creative Repair by donating materials, joining fundraiser shows, expressing membership interest, sharing feedback, or volunteering in the space. This form makes it easy to plug in wherever you fit best, and we will reach out as soon as possible!
The Space
The Center functions as both a working studio, non-profit office, and a small creative retail space.
The public can come in to work independently during open studio hours, buy supplies and project kits, rent equipment, or join a class taught by local artists, makers, and skilled community members.
Members have access to private studio time, specialized equipment, a digital lending library, wholesale pricing, and other benefits.
The space can stay open or shift into multiple activity areas for different classes and rotating projects happening at the same time.
Everyone in the space is expected to be actively working on a project unless they are in the gallery.
